Sonic Stadium #Sonic90sKid entry

Fantastic competition this week at the Sonic Stadium, inviting Sonic fans to jump back 20 years and remember what it was like to draw Sonic and pals.
The top prize is a collectors edition of Sonic Mania, which launches next week. Fingers crossed that I at least win a runners-up game manual!

My inspiration was partly the hope of Sonic 4 making it to Mega Drive long before the crap they eventually came up with for Sonic 4, and the rumour of a "green knuckles" that you could see in Sonic 3... Sadly wasn't true (much like the Pokemon Gen 1 Pikablue or Truck Mew rumours). But before the internet, a 90s kid would believe these things and try their best to unlock these ridiculous secrets!

Pencil was used on lined paper for that extra "a kid did it" feel. The hardest part was going against everything that young me learned about how not to draw Sonic!
